There’s just something about Fall that makes you want to bring out the neutrals. Too bad Fall didn’t seem to last long this year. Fall felt like it really came and went because before you knew it, it’s now full on Winter out there. Here I’m wearing a navy long sleeved top tucked inside some vintage trousers. I finished the look with some open toe lace up booties.
It’s that time of the year when you have to accept that hey you are getting older. You have those moments when you look in the mirror and you see your parents looking back at you. Things don’t bother you as much as they used to and you know today what you didn’t know yesterday. You’re wiser and not the same person you were a year ago, or even yesterday for that matter. Birthdays are a time to celebrate all that you’ve accomplished thus far, in the time you’ve spent on this earth. You reminisce on the good times and the bad times – where you are in your life and where you want to be. It’s also a great time to evaluate who you have in your life and who you want to keep in it going forward. The best people to have in your life are the ones who will be around for all your most important life events and help celebrate with you. I’ve learned that even though we are getting older, never let go of your youth because there’s no good reason to act your age. I mean, just because you’re an adult with responsibilities, married, kids etc. doesn’t mean you have to completely erase all the fun out of your life. Enjoy every minute of it and live every minute of it!
So if you’re reading this and it’s your birthday, go out there and have yourself a ball on your day!
