Who says you can’t wear sequins during the day! Well, growing up we were all told to save those ‘special’ pieces for only ‘special occasions’. You know, your birthday, a wedding, Christmas party, New Years Eve etc. In the last couple of years I’ve had to ask myself why am I saving these special pieces for just a one-time wear. My motto now is ‘if you’ve got it, wear it!’ I mean why have items sitting there collecting dust when you purchased it to wear it. I sure was guilty of this because I’ve actually had this blazer for a while now, but only worn it a couple of times. It’s a great stand-alone piece that I can also just throw on with a t-shirt and jeans, no accessories needed. For cocktail hour I can also throw it over a fitted mini dress and go! If you’re not a heels gal and you have a lot of walking to do during your day, I suggest switching the heels in for some white sneakers instead. I’m also wearing my bodysuit of the moment from Missguided with leather pants from Forever 21.
