Costa Blanca

Cozy Camo

Feeling a bit peachy in my oversized blazer for today’s look. Naturally we tend to wear warmer tones for Fall and put aside the brights until next season. Afterall, nothing says Fall like warmer earth tones, right! If you’re all for dressing for Fall to the T, a great way to incorporate some colour into your wardrobe is to go for powder dusted pieces, pieces that are pale versions of bright colours and anything that is slightly muted in colour. You can always incorporate your brights through your winter warm accessories, like your scarves, mitts and toques. Pairing this peach blazer with camo skinnies gave this look a slight grungy edge, which I then brought the girly side back by topping the look off with some barely there heels. Underneath the blazer I’m wearing an off-white light-weight sweater with a lace layering on the front. This gave the look some texture and layering.

Leather Love

This is such a relaxed look for me, perfect for the weekend. This is a look I would wear to an outdoor festival, concert or BBQ. Even though this look is head-to-toe neutral, I mixed it up with using different fabrics. In this look Im wearing a satin blazer, jersey knit t-shirt, leather shorts and wedge sneakers. What I love about jersey knit tees is that you can easily knot it to give your basic tee some excitement. A little secret, these leather shorts are actually leather trousers I cut into shorts. I didnt have leather shorts so I thought why not, its summer, you can never have enough shorts. The blazer was something I added last minute to this look, to kind of dress it up a bit. On the flip side, I then dressed it back down by tying it around my waist. Topped off the look with wedge sneakers; leather shorts and wedge sneakers just go well together. I love the versatility of this look.

Feelin’ Blue

photo

It’s Friday and I’m feeling blue! I’m a huge fan and frequent shopper at H&M – I mean who doesn’t love them. Super affordable, always on trend and you can definitely find yourself some classic pieces too. I really like a monochrome look and with this look I balanced it with bright accessories. I’m wearing a metallic t-shirt, statement necklace and neon pink clutch all from H&M. A powder blue dress shorts from Costa Blanca and navy blue pumps by Ivanka Trump from Town Shoes. What really great about this shorts is that I can wear it both high waisted and slung just below my hips – super versatile.
