Loose is sexy too! I love pairing over-sized pieces with heels like I did here with this Adidas Number faux leather top and heels. Taken from one of my favorite quotes by Marilyn Monroe, I like my clothes to be tight enough to show that I’m a woman but loose enough to show that I’m a lady. I chose ripped jeans to add a little edge to the look. For the most part, I make all my own ripped jeans, or I will buy them a little ripped and then distress it a bit more. I finished the look by just holding a hat as an accessory instead of wearing it. I would wear this look to a concert, a night out with the girls or just running errands on the weekend.

Simply Said

Keeping it simple with some ripped denim, a white structured top and nude pointed toe pumps. I have to admit, I’m becoming a bit obsessed with nudes and neutral tones. It simple, chic and can actually make your outfit look expensive. Nudes go with anything, so you can easily mix and match the same pieces to create your personal uniform. Style Tip: When in doubt, wear nude. I’m also a huge fan of pairing the not so obvious pieces together – like I did here with a more dressier top and ripped denim. This top was actually purchased back in 2011 from Zara and I ‘ve kept it in good condition because it’s one of my favourite pieces. Boxy tops like this are still in and is actually a classic piece because you can use this to build with other pieces in your wardrobe. Also, white is still going strong and again another hit for Spring, as seen on the SS15 runways.

Totally Ripped

I’m all for mixing and matching and looking a little undone at times; so in this look I left the top untucked, to give off a more laid back look. Pairing a classic piece like the blazer with ripped jeans is a mix match made in heaven. In this look there’s an equal balance between nudes and brights, and casual and classics. Instead of the classic white button up I decided to pair the blazer with a neon green sleeveless  one instead. Style tip: To take your look from the norm to the next level, choose classic pieces with a new spin on it. It can be anything from a different fabric, pattern or cut. This look is great for a casual Friday in a more creative office environment.
