Style Inspired

White x Gray

Keeping with my neutral trend as of late, I’ve decided to go white and gray today. I’ve been obsessing over these tank dresses because of their simplicity and effortless style. I purchased mines from h&m ($6.99, cannot go wrong with that) and I have them in black, gray, hot link and highlighter yellow as well. Too bad they’re not online, but a similar style from Shop Chriss Zoe is equally as good. You will have to spend a few more bucks though. I paired mines with a light coat because otherwise it will just be another sexy mini dress right. The coat is from one of my favorite affordable stores Forever 21 and again it’s not online, but there’s a similar style you can shop below. My heels are another favorite in my wardrobe right now. These single sole strappy heels makes your legs look long and lean, just a great way to accentuate your legs. If you’re like me who has wide feet, they’re definitely not the most comfortable so make sure when you wear these heels you won’t be standing for too long. My tote was actually a freebie from The Bay – just one of those lucky days when you spend a certain amount. This has become my summer go-to bag, it’s been everywhere with me so far. Running errands, shopping, the beach, meetings etc. Get style inspired and shop this look below.

The inspiration for this look came from street style photos I see during fashion weeks of Fashion Editors. I mean, if I were to choose the top five pieces you should own to look like a Fashion Editor, these would be on the list. Fashion Editors do a great job at mixing unlikely pieces together and it somehow works! Every time I see a street snap of them I think to myself ‘I would have never put those pieces together’. I’m trying to adopt the mindset that if I don’t think it would go together, try it anyways. The boldest piece in this look of course is the leopard face sweater – a little secret, this sweater actually itches like crazy so I most definitely won’t be wearing this for long periods. It was on sale, so I just had to have it! I’m really into platform slip-ons lately and I love them. They’re super comfortable and I think of them like a dressy sneaker because it really dresses up your outfit. When I don’t want to wear heels, but I still want a little bit of height, this is my go-to shoes. Get style inspired and shop the look below!
