Suited Up

From time to time I like to dress like the boys and today’s look I went for the pantsuit. Here I’m wearing trousers with a crop blazer and a sleeveless top with girl details. I topped off the look with some ankle booties, with my trousers folded at the bottom to show off the booties. Get style inspired and see some of my favourite pieces below to shop the look.

Cozy Camo

Feeling a bit peachy in my oversized blazer for today’s look. Naturally we tend to wear warmer tones for Fall and put aside the brights until next season. Afterall, nothing says Fall like warmer earth tones, right! If you’re all for dressing for Fall to the T, a great way to incorporate some colour into your wardrobe is to go for powder dusted pieces, pieces that are pale versions of bright colours and anything that is slightly muted in colour. You can always incorporate your brights through your winter warm accessories, like your scarves, mitts and toques. Pairing this peach blazer with camo skinnies gave this look a slight grungy edge, which I then brought the girly side back by topping the look off with some barely there heels. Underneath the blazer I’m wearing an off-white light-weight sweater with a lace layering on the front. This gave the look some texture and layering.

Simply Said

Keeping it simple with some ripped denim, a white structured top and nude pointed toe pumps. I have to admit, I’m becoming a bit obsessed with nudes and neutral tones. It simple, chic and can actually make your outfit look expensive. Nudes go with anything, so you can easily mix and match the same pieces to create your personal uniform. Style Tip: When in doubt, wear nude. I’m also a huge fan of pairing the not so obvious pieces together – like I did here with a more dressier top and ripped denim. This top was actually purchased back in 2011 from Zara and I ‘ve kept it in good condition because it’s one of my favourite pieces. Boxy tops like this are still in and is actually a classic piece because you can use this to build with other pieces in your wardrobe. Also, white is still going strong and again another hit for Spring, as seen on the SS15 runways.
